How do I advertise my property on your website?
First you must
register as a member. It is
free to register as a member. After you register, you can go to your
members area or go straight to
add your listing. Once you have chosen a package, you will be taken to the page to add your listing details, from there you will be able to add photo and virtual tour images.
How much does it cost to advertise my home?
We have many different packages to choose from. In order to insure everyone can list on our website, we offer a package to suit any budget. We ill always offer FREE packages on our site. To see our packages, go to our Listing Packages page.

What is the MLS?
The MLS (Multiple Listing Service) is a database or network of properties for sale in your area that real estate agents use to list home and find homes for potential buyer and sellers. About 70 - 80% of all homes sold are sold through the MLS. The MLS is the primary tool real estate agents use to sell your home, and lack of exposure is one of the main reasons most FSBO properties don't sell. Did you know about 80-90% of all buyers use a real estate agent so if your not on the MLS you miss out on those sellers... hence, the difficulty of selling by owner.
How does getting an MLS package from Mississippi For Sale By Owner work?
When you purchase an MLS package from Mississippi FSBO, we have your home listed on the MLS. Your home will be listed on the MLS for 6 months before it expires. You can make 2 changes within the 6 month period free of charge.
Do I have to pay a commission to be listed on the MLS?
If a buyers agent brings the buyer, you will have to pay the agreed upon commission, typically 3%. This is still a big savings over the standard 6 - 7% listing fees paid to a traditional real estate agent. PLUS if you find your own buyer, you do not pay a commission. This is why we work to bring more buyers to our website everyday.

How do I change details of my listing?
At the top of the site, click Members Area, or go to www.msfsbo.net/my_page.html. Once there choose the property you want to edit (some people have more than listing) and click Modify. From there you can edit any of the details of your listing.
How do I add, edit and delete images?
Go to your listings detail edit page, see above for instructions. From there you can click "Edit Images". From here you can add new images, delete existing ones, and edit the details of existing photos.
